Hi! I’m Vicky Daddo and I live in Gippsland, Victoria.
My short fiction has appeared in The Big Issue Fiction Special, Award Winning Australian Writing, Women’s Day, That’s Life, and other anthologies. I have won or been placed in many competitions including the Rachel Funari Prize for Fiction, The Hope Prize, the Scarlet Stiletto Awards and the FAW National Literary Awards.
In 2018, I received a women’s writing scholarship through The Hope Prize.
I am a Writers Victoria Regional Ambassador for Gippsland and President of the Gippsland Writers Network. I occasionally tutor creative writing and facilitate writers panels.
Outside of writing I enjoy reading, watching soccer, walking, listening to music, and eating dark chocolate. I live on a small hobby farm with two border collies and a few alpacas, and I have an enduring love for Doris Day, The X-Files and Duran Duran.
